Star Ranch Continued

This morning we took a walk around the grounds and saw the various amenities. There is an indoor and outdoor pool, indoor hot tub, tennis courts, volleyball courts, playgrounds for the kids, etc. The camp is member owned so it really is a community. They vote on changes and decisions about everything from events to members, to park changes. This keeps it heading in a great direction as a family nudist destination. It is a bit rustic, so if you come expecting that, you'll be ok. The great people more than make up for any minor flaws the park has. The camp sign Star Ranch Nudist Park Website

Star Ranch Nudist Park

‍We visited the Star Ranch near the middle of March, 2019. The weather was a little cooler than you would want to fully experience a park like this. From the office staff to the residents, Everyone was genuine and charming. We were checked in and given a tour of the club house and indoor pool. We were invited to a pot-luck dinner and met some wonderful people that welcomed us into their family. This honestly, might be the friendliest nudist location we have ever visited. Your Home Club

We spent the past weekend at our home club, Serendipity Park, in Cleveland, GA. We talked to people who drive 5 hours to get to this club because they feel like it's family. There were several new people there who were welcomed like they were family. I know all clubs aren't this way but if you're lucky enough to have one near you that does, try and frequent it as often as possible. Membership in a good club will allow you to come and go as you please. Memberships can cost $400-$1600 a year (per couple) based on the club and features of the membership. Some include membership in a nudist organization (like AANR) and some do not. If your club is a member of an organization like AANR, you can get a discount on a membership into that organization as well. We've found a great club in Serendipity that is warm and open with respectful people that just want to have fun in the nude. It's worth looking for a club like this near you!

Home Field Advantage

We moved our motorhome to Serendipity Park in Cleveland, GA and we hadn't used it much.  Being a holiday weekend, we finally got over to use it.  Our golf cart was very dirty but it cleaned up nicely.   Our friends were wondering where we've been.  It's just been a very busy summer and hard to get away. Earlier this morning, I met a couple who were "First Timers".  Their story was the same as most.  Wanted to try it but a little unsure about it until they got here.  They were tent camping and fell in love with the place within hours of being here.  The people at AANR resorts are almost always welcoming and genuine (excluding one club that we went to that wasn't).  "The Dip" is a perfect place to come for your first time.  They said they will be back and I'm sure they will be. Reflections on Cypress Cove

We're back home and back to textile life.  A typical day for us was to wake up around 8:00 or 9:00am, brush our teeth, put on some sandals, grab a towel, and head over to the restaurant for breakfast.  Then back to the room to pick up our cart with chair towels and pillows and claim our spot by one of the pools (with an umbrella). The weather wasn't very cooperative this trip; we usually had afternoon showers but we got our fair share of sun either on a lounge chair or floating on a pool noodle earlier in the day. Cheeks Bar is right near the pool and has food most hours that they are open.  Reasonably priced lunch and bar food that is quite good. The boutique has t-shirts, dresses, towels, men's shirts, accessories, etc. and was a refuge from the heat as well. During the week, the facility is mostly inhabited by residents that have retired there.  Everyone is very nice and many willing to strike up a conversation when approached. The staff were all very friendly and tried to help with your every need.  We'll really miss Lisa in the restaurant who always had a great

Cypress Cove Continued…

We've been at Cypress Cove for 3 days now.  There is a really nice restaurant on the lake that is open for breakfast every day.  Full service and reasonable.  Nudity or clothing is acceptable. The resort lets you take canoes or paddleboats out on the lake for free but there's no swimming in the lake because of Alligators. We saw an Alligator from the shore but couldn't find him again from the paddleboat.  Still fun and quite the workout. There are massages available here as well and we both got them.  They offer body wraps and other therapies as well.  Mmmm Relaxing... Cypress Cove Website

Welcomed home to Cypress Cove!

We decided to visit Cypress Cove in Florida again for our "Naked Holiday" this year.  We've got a villa room that has been renovated since we were last here. As we came through the front gate, the man asked if we had been here before.  We told him we had and he said "Welcome Home"! After driving for seven hours, it was a pleasant gesture. After checking in, we got unpacked and got our "Cove Clothes" on and went down to the pool for some sun.  We took a shower and got in the pool.  We talked with a couple who were visiting for their first time.  That's really the best part about places like Cypress Cove, you meet nice people. After getting pruned fingers, we got out and relaxed in lawn chairs. Only seven days left of this...   Cypress Cove Website

Cedar Creek Hot Tub

We decided to stop by the indoor hot tub and found a light on a table and it was dark but lit enough to relax. Cedar Creek's new owners have been doing many upgrades to the park including a new dance floor, TV, fireplace, and giant video projector.  Many additional changes are coming we are told.  There are activities planned throughout the winter months as well.
